Join a well-established hospital renowned for its pediatric care excellence. We are currently seeking a dedicated Pediatric Assistant Physician / Resident (m/w/d) to join our team in Neuburg a.d. - Full training authorization in general pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric neurology, and diabetology (DDG certified).
- Pending authorization for subspecialty training in pediatric gastroenterology.
- Level I Perinatal Center (Perinatalzentrum Level I) with approximately 2,800 births annually at the Ingolstadt site and about 1,000 births at the Neuburg location.

- Opportunities for interdisciplinary cooperation and rotations within the hospital's child and adolescent psychiatry department.
Your responsibilities:
- Providing inpatient care for pediatric and adolescent patients, including monitoring and managing complex cases.
- Delivering outpatient pediatric emergency services with a focus on timely and effective interventions.
- Gaining hands-on experience and developing competencies in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of pediatric conditions, including general pediatrics, pediatric surgery, traumatology, endocrinology, diabetology, gastroenterology, neuropediatrics, and pediatric cardiology.
- Active participation in the neonatal care unit, supporting critically ill newborns and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Engaging in documentation, case discussions, and contributing to quality assurance measures.
- Participating in on-call duties as per hospital guidelines, ensuring continuous patient care.
Your profile:
- Medical graduates at the beginning of their career or physicians currently in pediatric training.
- Valid German medical license (Approbation).
- For non-native speakers, excellent command of German language both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
- Passionate about pediatric medicine with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards young patients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently within a structured team environment.
- Willingness to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
