Position: Strategic Sourcing Specialist (m/w/d) for Print Materials
Location: Bretten (Baden)
Employment Type: Day ShiftYour Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue detailed requests for quotations for print-related products such as labels, sleeves, cartons, and Bag-in-Box packaging to various suppliers.
- Analyze and evaluate supplier offers based on technical specifications, print quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain clear and professional communication channels with suppliers and internal purchasing partners.
- Plan, monitor, and track delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement aligned with production needs.
- Assist in drafting framework agreements and maintain contract records accurately within SAP.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of material master data in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support projects including trade fair participation, product launches, and packaging redesigns.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Quality Management, Production, and Work Preparation to ensure alignment of purchasing activities.
Your Profile
- Completed commercial or technical training, such as a technician in printing and media technology or an industrial foreman specializing in print media.
- Strong interest in print products and a willingness to deepen knowledge in this specialized area.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP experience is an advantage.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is desirable.
- Methodical, structured, and goal-oriented working style.
- High sense of responsibility and reliability.
