We are currently seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist (m/w/d) specializing in psychotherapy for a well-established hospital in the greater Cottbus area. This position offers a direct employment contract with the healthcare provider. Your Qualifications:

Completed medical degree with German medical license (Approbation)
Board certification in psychiatry and psychotherapy (m/w/d)
Proficient command of the German language, both spoken and written
Extensive experience in managing psychiatric disorders with a comprehensive approach including social context
Independent and responsible working style
Strong resilience and excellent communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Valid driving license (Class B)

Responsibilities:

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatment planning, and documentation, including discharge management
Contributing to the conceptual development of outpatient-equivalent treatment models in adult psychiatry
Engaging in interdisciplinary and extramural cooperation
Providing patient care in both clinical and home settings
Collaborating within a mobile, multi-professional team
Advising patients and their families, and liaising with public authorities and complementary service providers
