Senior Emergency Medicine Consultant (m/w/d) in Würzburg Metropolitan Area
Your Responsibilities
In a well-regarded hospital near Würzburg, you will take on the senior consultant role in the central emergency department. Your primary duties include the comprehensive initial assessment and emergency care of patients, as well as coordinating subsequent diagnostics and treatments. You will oversee patient management from first evaluation through to admission to inpatient wards. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of clinical workflows and quality standards. Participation in on-call and background duty services is an essential requirement.
Your Profile
You hold specialist certification in internal medicine or an equivalent patient-focused specialty and ideally have completed or are willing to complete additional training in clinical acute and emergency medicine. You possess extensive expertise and practical experience in emergency and intensive care medicine. Compliance with legal requirements, including proof of measles immunization, is mandatory.
