The Sector Manager works closely with the global Sector Leader and his leadership team for the development and execution of the sector strategy. For daily business, the candidate collaborates with other Industrial Goods Sector/Regional Managers, Practice Area Coordinators, and Marketing. The candidate also collaborates closely with the Public Sector Management team, as the ITC sector sits in both Industrial Goods and Public Sector Practice Areas. Further collaboration with other global and regional BCG functions and teams occurs as needed.
BCG's Industrial Goods Practice is divided into four sectors: Automotive & Mobility (A&M;), Greentech & Engineered Products (G&EP;), Materials & Process Industries (MPI) and Infrastructure, Transport & Cities (ITC). The Practice includes the Consulting Team that works with our clients, the Knowledge Team, and the Practice Area Team that manages the Practice and includes Sector Managers, BD Managers, Regional Managers, Coordinators and Marketers. The Practice Area team is, in short, the backbone of the Industrial Goods Practice.
