Senior Regulatory Engineer (f/m/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in and engage with associations relevant for our power tools and accessories:
- EPTA European Power Tool Association
- ZVEI e. V. Verband der Elektro- und Digitalindustrie
- Participate in international, European and national standardization and working groups
- Facilitate the exchange of information between us and associations, suppliers, customs, customers, distributors and SBUs
- Inform global development teams, EMEA organization on new standards and trends for upcoming changes and requirements which influence our business
- Handle approvals, implement and manage the approval process as well as participation in product reviews
- Ensure product compliance by monitoring CE/CB certifications and reviewing manuals and technical documentation for adherence to standards and regulations
- Support engineering on technical changes and provide advice on standards and regulations
- Plan and review approval costs while ensuring that deadlines and cost targets are met
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Technical, Environmental Studies or a related field
- Extensive experience in the consumer products field
- Experience in product certification and/or working with associations is desirable
- Willingness to travel as required by business needs
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
