Field Installations Engineer (AI Startup) (m/w/d)

But factories today are running out of people. They struggle with efficiency, safety, and quality - and they desperately need better tools to understand what’s happening on the shop floor.

That’s where we come in. Deltia builds AI-powered computer vision systems that give manufacturers deep visibility into how their production lines actually run - and the insights to improve them. We don’t sell ads or marketing software. We help real factories solve real problems.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment as we scale from an early-stage startup into a category-defining company.

• Prepare and install full edge setups — cameras, compute nodes, and networking components

• Configure devices, test connectivity, and verify data flow from edge to cloud

• Develop and use automation scripts for faster installation, calibration, and verification

• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues across hardware, network, and software layers

• Coordinate component sourcing and logistics with the operations team

• Ensure every installation meets reliability, safety, and performance standards

• 3+ years in industrial hardware installation, systems integration, or field engineering

• Strong practical experience with Linux, networking, and device configuration

• Familiarity with edge computing, camera systems, or IoT deployments

• Proficiency in Bash or Python for setup automation and diagnostics is a plus!

• Comfortable working independently on customer sites (domestic & international travel)

Must have a valid driver's license to be able to transport equipment to client site and conduct installations

Expected to occasionally lift 30kg+
