We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Lead Licensing deals from initiation until execution of negotiations with identified 3rd party suppliers for IL-opportunities considering the best deal type, most favourable timelines (first-to-market), quality and commercial terms
  • Search and identify new business development opportunities to expand the existing Portfolio via In-Licensing (IL) or other partnership models
  • Drive and lead the Commercial evaluation of external IL-opportunities
  • Drive and lead the negotiation of Licensing Agreements to close the deal
  • Prepare briefings and business cases for management approval
  • Manage existing alliances and establish long-term professional relationships with potential partners
  • Represent Fresenius Kabi at industry conventions and conferences
  • Monitor the market, competitors, and trends in Fresenius Kabi business space
  • Generate and collect new project ideas (patent expiry, gap analysis, external offers, life cycle management etc.) and valuate them as an input in the Fresenius Kabi´s decision process
  • Take ownership of IL-projects and liaise with different functions to ensure the IL-project timelines on track
  • Provide leadership to local / regional functions through sharing knowledge, best practices and perspectives
  • Supporting the Competitive Intelligence module

  • Pharmaceutical / Science / Medical degree required (PhD preferred) and / or Master Degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Candidate must have at least 15 years’ experience in the field of Business Development, Licensing of generic drugs and/or associated fields
  • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical development would be a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills required
  • Strong team player (open, supportive to peers)
  • Solution oriented, balancing strategic thinking and strong execution sense
  • Organised while being reactive and having the sense of urgency
